Hello Jean and team,
the weather situation didn't change much from yesterday. In general the wind will be strong and the dominating weather element in high altitude. Until Saturday the average wind speed in the summit area is increasing to 50 knots. The weather is friendly in general. Friday brings some more clouds and possibly some precipitation.
Sunday the wind is decrasing a bit. But you still have 30 knots or a little more on summit. Weather stays friendly.
Next Monday wind is increasing again.

Hello Jean and team,
windy days are ahead, especially in the summit area. The jet is moving southwards. The weather is friendly until Friday, with increasing wind. In the summit area, average wind speed increases to about 40 knots. Local speed up and gusts might bring even stronger wind.
On saturday and sunday, the wind is decreasing. At the same time, the vertical lifting is stronger and the humidity increases. This means more clouds ans possibly also some snowfall. The precipitation forecast is still uncertain. The set up is right for precipitation, but many models show no precipitation. So in the next days, we can say more about that.
Monday to Wednesday the wind speed increases again. It looks like strong winds and freindly weather next week again.

Hello Jean and team, general situation: the jet is moving southwards and the wind is speeding up. At the same time the humidity is decreasing. Toeards the end of the week, the wind is decreasing again.
TUE to FRI: until Friday the largescale wind will be strong with average speed of about 60 km/h. Locally winds are stronger, especially on the summit ridge. Around Annapurna, the humidity is quite low. Models show friendly weather. There is a chance for local showers. Especially Tuesday and Wednesday. The temperature drops a bit.
Next Saturday models simulate less wind. The drop in wind speed seems to be only for a short time. Next sundy and monday the wind speed increases again.

General situation:
The jet (=area with stormy winds) leaves our region, so the wind weakens during the day. From SAT to MON the wind is rather weak. From TUE/WED a through approches from West the wind gains speed and brings humid air:
the weather worsens, but the details (timing, exact weather) are still unsure at the moment.
Weather:
FRI: At lower altitudes the relative humidity of the air is moderate. During the days the winds from the valley bring the humidity of the lowlands to the base of the mountain. Cumulus grow, some snow showers
are possible. At higher altitudes the air is quite dry. The weather should stay sunny up there. The wind at summit weakens during the day.
SAT to MON: Weak winds, but every day brings more convection. During the afternoon cumulus clouds (higher than on FRI) and the risk of some showers increases from day to day.
TUE to THU: The wind gains speed again and brings humid air: clouds and
parttime snowfall.
