Hello Annapurna climbers!
Wednesday and Thursday:
Mostly fair weather. The air humidity in high altitude is low. Some
moisture is sitting in the valleys, but there is no upper level forcing,
which would enhance precipitation and support thermal convection. So
there is only weak thermal convection -> cumuli clouds are forming in
the afternoon, but the weather is mostly dry or just local, little
amounts of snow are possible.
Winds: on WED: Southwest, 20-40 km/h on summit; on THU: West, 10-30 km/h.
Friday and Saturday:
Probably still fair weather, but thermal convection slightly increases.
So, again cumuli clouds and some local showers probable.
Winds: FRI: mostly West, 10-30 Km/h; on SAT: West, 20-30 km/h.
Outlook from Sunday:
There is still a upper level trough, which approaches Annapurna from
West/Northwest. Maybe it takes effect no more than on Monday. At the
moment, details are uncertain. Winds are increasing (20-50 km/h) and
blow from West/Southwest.
Good luck!
